In Poland, Youth for Christ have just spent a weekend together as the board, the leaders and the volunteers, discussing and praying about the ministry in the months to come. “It was absolutely wonderful. Our God is so good. We all left the place very encouraged and excited about the future of YFC. ”
Their new student ministry is about to start up again after the Summer break : “Ewakuacja” will meet every 3 weeks and we pray that the students who were so touched by it last year will return. Marcela writes “The idea for “Evacuation” started growing in my heart about two years ago. But it took nearly a year for it to mature not only in me but also in the hearts of people with whom I shared that idea. The first open meeting took place in October 2015. Around 60 people came. Then, after six months, around 160 people attended Evacuation. During each meeting we saw people become Christians. My heart leaps with joy each time I enter the meeting place and see how God works in us and blesses this project.” And another leader, Sara, writes ” Evacuation is the place of my calling and growth, the place where I can serve with my gifts and offer my help. I am so grateful for this project as it allows me to meet incredible people who inspire me with their passion and desire for God. I think those meetings are the answer to the need of young people in our city. My faith grows when I see how this project is growing in its impact.”
