Petko R. Slaveikov School in Sofia is the first independent Christian school in Bulgaria, offering a government-approved curriculum in a distinctive Christian environment. A special feature is that several disabled children are welcomed and educated alongside their peers, whereas they are usually excluded from mainstream schools. Plans are to expand the number of students across the age range.
