Slovak aid to South Sudan

Our Partner Integra in Slovakia is really raising the profile of mission and charity work overseas.

Allan Bussard has sent us this news :

This past week we signed a contract with the Slovak Government to help provide emergency care to nearly 65,000 people in need in South Sudan.

Working with our long term partner, MedAir, this group of mostly women and children will gain access to health care, food and clean water.

They are part of a group of 3.5 million who have fled from their homes, which is part of a larger group of 7.5 million who have lost their livelihoods.

In the midst of all that is happening in the world, they are largely forgotten.

Yet our God, who notices if a hair on our head is harmed, is right there in the midst of their pain.

Thankfully, God does not share our ability to “lose” 3.5 million women and children.

Please pray for wisdom in implementing this program over the next 12 months, so that lives will be saved, and the God who remembers the forgotten will be praised.

Thanks
