In the countries of post-communist Eastern Europe, corruption is widespread at all levels of society, and the growing gulf between rich and poor is leaving millions trapped in severe poverty. Integra was founded in 1995 and has helped many marginalised people to establish small businesses and run them as models of integrity and good practice.

The main focus now is on encouraging the church and wider society in Slovakia to engage in social action and mission in Africa, through support for children’s homes and Fair-Trade enterprises.
