In a note from Nadya at the PR Slaveikov School in Sofia, Bulgaria, she thanks us for our prayers for the school through this year, which has been quite challenging, facing up to some financial difficulties and working hard in planning for the future. She has much to thank God for: the committed help of some expert individuals from outside the situation who have given wise advice and practical help; the resulting improved framework for the future; the devotion and commitment of parents to the school; some help from a UK trust fund to upgrade the play areas and some classroom equipment.

For the next academic year, she asks us to pray for more students and for new teachers, especially an English teacher – an opportunity perhaps for someone from the UK to spend a year teaching in Bulgaria!
