Dear friends and partners, 

I’ve just received this news about a dear Russian friend of our mission community, Roman. He has been at our CEP conference in the past so some of you will remember him. We have known him for decades and He is a faithful warrior for the gospel.  He has been vocal against the war at his own risk.

Please pray for him…here is today’s news from our and his friend Sergiy in Kiev:

“Roman is now in the hospital. He has now several problems including a recently discovered cancer. Chemotherapy is scheduled after some other treatments that he needs to get in the hospital. He asks for your prayers, especially for Svetlana (his wife). 

 I communicated with Roman this morning. He has stage 4 cancer. This is why his gallbladder has been removed. In a few hours, there will be surgery: his bile ducts need to be cleared. I think the more prayers for him and Sveta the better. “
