Concern for Ukraine

CEP’s most active field of ministry in recent times has been Ukraine, with many initiatives there reaching out to many people, meeting physical and material needs with war widow work, clubs and camps for young people, children and families; but also spiritual needs, through relationships built in these ministries, and more directly through Bible seminaries and theological training.

Please pray for Ukraine right now, as troops gather just over the border and all the talk is of possible invasion. Even now, our Partners continue their work, so please pray for them – Sergiy and the team at REALIS in Kyiv; Bartek and Zhanna in Lviv, and all the ministries in Lutsk, where Malcolm is in fact visiting this week, helping with the setting up of a new seminary and the new building for the Education Centre. And Svieta, one of the lynchpins of Territory 2:2, is travelling to the British consul in Kyiv to apply for a visa to come and visit us in UK in March. She was granted a visa two years ago, but then couldn’t come because of covid, so it would be wonderful if she could come this March. So many potential hurdles and pitfalls for that to happen, but please pray firstly for her safety travelling this week, and then for the Lord’s will to be done for her, and for all the people of Ukraine.

Thank you
