Prayer updates/requests

Dear friends,

Thank you very much for standing with us in our ministry, for praying for us and the situation in Ukraine.

We had a CEP annual conference in October, which was a fruitful time and a good opportunity to look at surrounding reality from different points of view: West, Europe, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus.

We have had more questions than answers, as some of the prophets had when they were facing a cruel reality.

Stephen W. brought up lessons from Habakkuk when he was prophesying about future woes for Israel and the dilemma of righteous & evil people suffering together. Our challenge in all the circumstances, however difficult they are, is to “live by faith” (“But the righteous one will live by his faith”, Habakkuk 2:4)

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Hab. 2:14). At that time, we will know and understand more. At the moment we are to seek His will and His Kingdom, ask Him for wisdom in our good deeds. Who are we to question God’s Sovereignty? (“But the Lord is in His holy temple. Let all the Earth be silent before Him. Hab. 2:20”)

Pray that in the current circumstances in Ukraine we/our partners keep focusing on God, giving glory to Him and continue being good witnesses for people around us, so they may come to Jesus.

Pray for God’s mercy and righteous judgement for those deserving it.

Pray for God’s healing for traumatized soldiers, families, children. That God would use his servants to help people.

Please pray for our CEP team as they travel around the UK raising awareness and support for ministries in Ukraine, as they meet people, so their relationship is a mutual encouragement.

Your prayers are a mighty weapon freely accessible to you and much appreciated.

Grace and peace,

CEP team
